SHOT FLASK, 19th century, in black leather covered steel, steel spout with 'drams' measurer, with external spring operated cut off and spring operated pourer, the spout marked for maker 'Sykes', also marked on top 'Improved Best Quality/Sykes Patent' (approx size 8.5x23cm) (Riling p496, no.1392). A few small spots with loss of leather and a split at the stitching on one side, otherwise very fine.
