BOWIE KNIFE, c1870, by A.Leon, 190 Solly St, Sheffield, with bone handle with narrow plate on one side for inscribing name, blade with stylised lettering 'O K' with a star between letters; serving spoon, gold plated with unidentified markings on the back of the handle but appears not to be silver. The knife handle with a small piece missing on the corner of one side near the guard, otherwise fine, the spoon good. (2)

Note: A very similar knife was recovered from The Alamo in Texas, USA.
