PRIZE PINT MUG, in silvered (12.5cm high), with handle, maker's mark near top edge, marked on base W7140, on one side in an oval panel is inscribed, '4th Mon. R.V. Corps/Prize Cup/Won By/Private Richard Watkins/Blaenavon/1876'; also a prize cup in silvered (16cm high), with maker's mark at top edge, at the side is inscribed, 'Rifle Match/1889/Won By/J.Read'. The first with some scratches and the second with a dent and some scratches, otherwise very fine. (2)

Blaenavon is a town in Torfaen county borough, south eastern Wales.
