MACEDON, Akanthos, silver tetrobol, (470-390 B.C.), (2.43 g), obv. forepart of bull kneeling left, looking back, above **PE* dotted border, rev. shallow quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.1369, SNG ANS 46, SNG Ash 2214, AMNG 34). Bright, nearly extremely fine and scarce.

Ex CNG retail with ticket, acquired in January 2002.
