MACEDON, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.18 g), Amphipolis IV mint, issued c. 307-297 B.C. under Kassander as king, obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, **L* over bucranion below, and **HG* monogram below right, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider Group IV, [p.125, Pl.47, 2], SNG ANS 763-770). Toned, nearly very fine and rare, with old collectors ticket.
