VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 72-73, (3.36 g), obv. IMP CAES VESP AVG P M COS [III], laureate head to right, rev. VES-TA to either side of Vesta standing left, holding simpulum and sceptre, (S.2316, RIC 50, RSC 574). Bright,uneven flan, nearly very fine - very fine.
