SYRIA-LEBANON VICTORY BADGE, July 15th 1941, in white metal (27x37mm), with painted details including a slouch hat wearing Australian soldier in the centre of a V for Victory, pin-back. A few spots with loss of paint, otherwise good very fine and scarce.

The Syria-Lebanon Campaign in which Australian troops, mostly from the 7th Division, fought, started on 8 June and ended on 14 July 1941, hence the issue of the above badge dated 15 July 1941.
