The John Edmondson V.C. Memorial Club was established on 19 July 1947 in Liverpool, Sydney, NSW and was named after Corporal Jack (John) Edmondson of the 2/17Bn who was the first Australian serviceman to be awarded the Victoria Cross in World War II. It provides dining and drinking facilities as well as function or event facilities to its members.
