FRANCE, gold medal award to Aucher Bros (Medaille d'or a Aucher freres), undated, uniface, in gilt bronze (50.5mm) by Roddiet-Plichon, with legend, '14 Medailles - Expositions Univlle De Londres - Nationales Paris'. Mounted on a stained timber square, much gilt missing, otherwise very fine.

Aucher Bros were manufacturers of superb pianos. Their agent in Sydney, was the musical instrument retailer, W.H.Paling.
