Garve, made by Lauer, obverse, shield and knight's head with winged helmet and floral sprays and legend, '(German translated to English) Anna Caecilie Garve Born Von Hacht, Reitbrook, 4 Dec 1808 Hamburg 20 Jun 1889', reverse, female lying on couch with angel above holding branch and wreath with legend 'Die Liebe Horet Nimmer Auf' (Love Never Dies). Extremely fine.
