ZEUGITANA, Utica, Tiberius, (14-37 B.C.), AE dupondius, (12.53 g), issued 28-29 A.D., Vibius Marsus, proconsul for the second year, L. Caecilius Pius, duovir, obv. TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VIII, bare head of Tiberius to left, rev. C VIBIO [MARS]O PR COS II L CAECILIVS PIVS II V, Livia seated to right, holding sceptre and phiale, M-M/I-V in field, (cf.S.302, RPC I 736, SNG Cop 440, MMA 114a). Attractive dark brown toning, very fine, scarce.
