AEMILIAN, (253 A.D.), AE As, Rome Mint, (7.83 g), obv. laureate bust to right of Aemilian, draped and cuirassed, around IMP CAES AEMILIANVS P F AVG, rev. around [SP]ES PVBLICA, Spes walking left, holding flower and raising hem of robe, S C across field, (S.9864, RIC 51b, RSC 50). Deeply toned, good fine and very rare.
