THRACE, Kings of, Seuthes III, (c.323-316 B.C.), AE 19, (6.13 g), obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, rev. horseman to right, star below belly, wreath below raised foreleg, above **SEUQOU*, dotted border, (S.1725, Youroukova, 76 [p.182, 4, star below belly], SNG BM Black Sea 317, cf.SNG Stancomb 294, HGC 3, 1714 [S]). Good very fine, dusty, with a deep green patina below, rare.
