THRACE, Kings of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm (16.70 g), Cius mint, issued after 281 B.C., obv. diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing horn of Ammon, rev, Athena seated left, holding Nike and sceptre, to right and left **BASILEWS LUSIMAXOU*, **AG* and bow in case in exergue and a club in outer left field, (cf.S.6814, cf.Meydancikkale Hoard 2668, Mektepini 162 [p.11, Pl.8 same dies], cf.SNG Berry 1123, cf.Muller 419). Toned, good very fine and very rare.

The attribution to Cius is considered most probable by SNG Berry as all have basic symbols with variants in the monograms.
