THRACE, kings of, Kavaros, (c.230/225-218 B.C.), AE 18, (5.84 g). Cabyle mint, obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. Nike standing left, holding wreath; monogram before, *BASILEWS KAUAROU*, (S.1727, SNG BM Black Sea 195, SNG Stancomb 304, (HGC 3, 1357 [S]). Good very fine with a black patina and minor roughness.
