MACEDON, Kingdom of, Kassander, (316-297 B.C.), AE 1/2 unit, 16 mm, (3.02 g), obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress, rev. lion reclining right, **KASSAN/ DROU* in exergue, N to right, (cf.S.6753, SNG Alpha Bank 883-7, SNG Cop.-, SNG Munich -, HGC 3, 995). Dark green patina, very fine.
