ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, (11.81 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 140-144, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. around TR POT COS IIII, Pudicitia standing facing, head left, raising right hand and holding veil with left hand, S C across, (S.-, RIC 702, BMC p.222 note, C.905). Light brown patina, attractive nearly extremely fine and scarce.
