Together with RSL Club badge (KC) 3-figure type; small government cards that accompany medals when issued; unused postcards, one in colour 'Near Gawler, South Australia', the other in b&w 'Glen's Point Beachfront, S.A.

Charles John Emery, labourer, age 19, born at Port Adelaide, Sth Aust; Enl.18Sep1941 at Alberton, Sth Aust in 3Fd Amb; Entered training camp 21Oct1941; Emb.27Dec1941 for Port Moresby; TOS 3Fd Amb 29Jan1942; to 2 Fd Amb 10Feb1943; to Duntroon 02Jul1943; various postings including attachment to Reinforcements of 17Infy Bn and also hospitalisation in Sep1943 with malaria; Disch.23May1945; Died 04Sep1996 at Tennyson Nursing Home and buried at Smithfield Memorial Park, Adelaide, Sth Aust.
