A.I.F. Carnival, 1952, in silvered (47.5mm), by Stokes, pierced hole at top and bottom edge for fitting in a swivel frame, reverse inscribed, 'A.I.F. Carnival/1952/Tobruk Shield/won by/O.Campbell-Bondi'. Good very fine.

The A.I.F. Carnival for the State AIF Championships was held at The Spit Baths on 3 February 1952. Metropolitan returned soldiers swimming clubs from Bondi, Coogee-Randwick, Limbless, North Sydney, Cronulla, Dee Why, Manly, The Spit and Tramway Diggers clubs participated. The Tobruk Shield was won by O.Campbell from the Bondi club.
