ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.335-330 B.C.), silver stater, (7.88 g), obv. bearded Corinthian helmeted head of Leukippos to right, lion head behind, rev. ear of corn, to right META, to left club erect over leaf, [A]MI below, (S.415, Johnston [NN&M 164] Class B.2, SNG ANS 432-440, SNG Ash.728-9). Toned, very fine/good very fine and scarce.
