IONIA, Islands of, Samos, silver diobol (c.459/8-454/3 B.C.), (0.88 g), obv. head of panther to left, rev. head of ram right within border of pearls, **S* A below and to right, (S.4628, Barron Class 3, Pl.XVI, 16 [same dies], BMC 119 [Pl.xxxv, 8]; SNG Cop.1683-4, HGC 6, 1206 [R2]). Very fine/fine, toned and very rare.
