AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW SOUTH WALES, Practice with Science, 1870, prize medal in bronze (89mm) by Hardy Brothers, London & Sydney, inscribed on reverse 'Messrs Rowlands/&/ Lewis/(Class) 798/No.2276/1870'. With minor edge nicks, nearly extremely fine.

Rowlands and Lewis were cordial and soft drink manufacturers in Ballarat. They opened in Melbourne in 1873 and Sydney in 1884. This bronze award was for Soda and Tonic Water.
