AUSTRALIA, Victorian Centenary, Oct 1934, inscribed on a map of Australia inside a lifebuoy with roped border, the lifebuoy impressed, 'H. M. S. Sussex', no maker, convex reverse, pin-back; another identical but no impressed name, 'H.M.S.Sussex'. Good very fine. (2)

H.M.S. Sussex was a Royal Navy heavy cruiser that was sent to serve with the Royal Australian Navy in 1934 on an exchange with HMAS Australia sent to serve with the Royal Navy in the Mediterranean.
