IRAN, Tepe Giyan IV period, c.3000-1500 B.C, pottery jar, small circular form with wide lip, decorated with bands of dark brown paint around the shoulder, neck and lip, panels of similar vertical stripes in between, on a buff background, (65mm high). Very fine and scarce.
