Athena Alkidemos walking left, brandishing thunderbolt, rev. owl standing left on ear of barley, META to right, (S.624, Johnston, "The Bronze Coinage of Metapontum," in Kraay-M?rkholm Essays, 68; SNG ANS 565; HN Italy 1704). Nice attractive dark brown patina, nearly extremely fine and rare.
