THRACE, Black Sea Area, Apollonia Pontica, (4th century B.C.), reduced silver drachm, (2.84 g), obv. anchor, crayfish to right and A to left, rev. Gorgoneion or Medusa head facing, (S.1655, SNG BMC Black Sea 160-163, SNG Stancomb 35-38). Bright, slightly off centred obverse, about extremely fine.
