PHOENICIA, Aradus, (2nd-1st century B.C., but dated year 167 = 93/92 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.93 g), obv. turreted and veiled bust of Tyche to right dotted border, rev. Nike standing to left, holding aphlaston and palm-branch, **ARADIWN* to right, to left **HER* (year 168 = 92-91 B.C.), over Aramaic G above **DC*, all within laurel wreath, (S.5992, Duyrat 3341-78, Rouvier 283, DCA 772, SNG Copenhagen 50, BMC 221). Toned, flan crack, very fine and very scarce.
