NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE As, Rome mint, issued A.D. 67, (8.87 g), obv. bare head of Nero to right, globe at point of bust, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG GERM, rev. S C across, Victory flying left holding shield inscribed SPQR, (cf.S.1976, RIC 351, C.298). Dark brown patination, extremely fine, rare in this conditon.
