HADRIAN (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius/as, issued 129-130, (13.60 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, drapery on far shoulder, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. CLEMENTIA AVG COS III P P around, S C across field, Clementia standing left, holding patera and vertical sceptre, (S.3677, RIC 1188 [new volume], cf.BMC 1434,1438, Strack [1933] 816). Superb even dark brown patina, good very fine or better, rare in this condition.
