TRIO: Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 39983 R.L.Glyde. All medals impressed. The first missing suspension and the second with some scratches on obverse, otherwise good very fine.

Flying Officer Richard Lindsay Glyde, an Australian serving with RAF was KIA in combat with a German bomber on 13 August 1940 and fell with his aircraft into the sea off Portland Bill, English Channel. He had nine confirmed victories and was awarded a DFC.
