Together with case for ISM and box of delivery for WWII medals addressed to Mr A.W.Fish, with medal slip; Safe Driving Competition 5 Years Medal with bars for 1951 to 1954; 10 Years Safe Driving Medal with bars for 1956 to 1960; Royal Corps of Signals hat badge (KC); Royal Corps of Signals brass bed plate 2313884 named 'Fish. A.'; various documents including Royal Life Saving Certificate, 3 documents relating to career in post office, birth certificate, marriage certificate, army certificates of education, attestation form, 2 Service Books and a copy of Fish's repatriation questionnaire and his service file

Arthur William Fish, skilled workman class 1 with Post Office Engineering Dept, born 05Feb1903 at Paddington, London; Enl.14May1921 in militia with Royal Signals; passed Royal Army Veterinary School exam on Animal Management 14Apr1926; mobilized 01Oct1939; taken POW at St Valery, Somme, France 12Jun1940; imprisoned at Stalag XXA at Thorn, Poland Aug1940-Aug1941, Stalag XXB at Marienburg, East Prussia Aug-Sep1941, Stalag XXA at Thorn, Poland Oct1941-Sep1942, Stalag 383 at Hohenfels, Bavaria Sep1942-Apr1945, qualified for Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion Certificate in Sep1944 while at Stalag 383; released 12May1945; Died at Swindon, Wiltshire in 1974.
