QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899 (TYPE 3 REVERSE), - three clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal. 31551 Tpr: P.Brown. Scottish Horse. Impressed. Hairlines, otherwise good very fine.

Also entitled to clasps for South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902. These clasps issued separately 6 May 1905.

Sergeant Patrick Brown, labourer, age 30, born at Vic; Enl.15Mar1901 at Melbourne, Vic in 2Bn Scottish Horse and Emb. per 'Orient'; RTA and Disch.14Sep1901; Re-Enl.02Jan1902 at Johannesburg as Sergeant with 2nd Scottish Horse; Disch.06Jul1902 with Exemplary Conduct.
