The second medal impressed, the fourth and seventh medals engraved, all other medals pantograph engraved. Display mounted, extremely fine.

Entitled to United States Meritorious Unit Commendation.

Together with two original documents from the United States War Office for the award of the Meritorious Unit Commendation; a matched set of unmounted miniatures; AATTV shoulder patch; Australian Army Service Corps hat badge (QC); pair of aluminium dog tags, one circular and one hexagonal, impressed, '36658 WO2/M.Foster/BGP.A2 RH Pos/Presb.'; Returned from Active Service badge (QC), reverse numbered A431045.

Murty Joseph Foster, born 24Dec1932 at Windsor, Vic; served with Royal Australian Army Service Corps as (temporary) Staff Sergeant until appointed Warrant Officer 01Feb1976; served in Vietnam with Australian Army Training Team Vietnam 12Feb1968-28Jan1969.

With research including an original Australian Army Warrant dated 1st February 1976 appointing Murty Joseph Foster to the rank of Warrant Officer.
