V.A.A.A (Victorian Amateur Athletics Association), award medal in silver with scroll mount (45mm) by Stokes & Sons, obverse, bust of goddess Athena helmeted decorated with griffen, left, legend around 'Honor to Whom Honor is Due', inscribed on reverse, 'V.A.A.A/[Awarded/to]/W.Shea/1st/200 yards/Championship/7.10.99' within open wreath. With edge bump at 9 o'clock on obverse/three o'clock on reverse, some verdigris on reverse, scratches in fields and face of Athena, good very fine.
