BROWN'S TROPHY, handcrafted fob prize medal, Maltese cross style in silver (29.5x29.5mm), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'Won by/C.F.C./1903'. Toned good very fine.

The Casterton Football Club won the Brown's Trophy by beating the Wanderers Football Club by one point on Saturday 1 August 1903. This win put them into first position at 20 points, undefeated, ahead of the Wanderers on 12 points, Portland on 4 points and Condah also on 4 points.
