Domitian sacrificing before temple with victimarius, musicians and attendant, around [COS] XIIII LVD SAEC FEC, S C in exergue, (S.2802, RIC 383, C.91). Attractive brown patina, very fine and rare, a most interesting reverse.
This type is a commemorative to celebrate in Rome the Secular Games held by Domitian in October A.D.88.
