SYRIA, Antioch, Roman Provincial coinage under Nero (54-68 A.D.), AE 29mm, (11.16 g), obv, around IM NER CLAV - CAESAR, laureate head right, in front, lituus, dotted border, rev. SC in laurel wreath, dotted border, (cf.S.619, RPC 4307, SNG Cop 158, BMC 177-8, Butcher 125). Dark green patina, obverse surface pitting, good very fine and scarce.
