SYRIA, Cyrrhestica, Hieropolis, Caracalla, (198-217 A.D.), billon tetradrachm, (12.60 g), dated Cos 4 (A.D. 215-217), obv. laureated, draped and cuirassed bust to right, around AVT K M A ANTWNEINOC CEB, rev. **DHMAPC E X U PATO*C TO **D* eagle standing facing head to right, holding wreath in beak, lion walking to right below, (cf.S.2663, Prieur 929, Bellinger 95). Fine - nearly very fine, weak in places, scarce.
