NEW ZEALAND, Volunteer Long Service Medal (Victoria Regina et Imperatrix), with pin-back ribbon suspender (pin missing and ribbon loose). No.363 Pte. Robt Rogers, Port Guards Rifle Vols. (1908). Engraved. In case of issue, this damaged, medal nicely toned extremely fine.

A news report in the Timaru Herald, Vol XIIIC, Issue 13784, 22 Dec 1908, page 5 stated as follows. 'The last Gazette contains a notice that the long-service medal has been awarded to Private Robert Rogers of the Port Guards, for over 21 years' service.'
