WAR MEDALS AND THEIR HISTORY, by W. Augustus Steward, 1915, hardcover, 407pp, with 258 illustrations in Half-tone and Line, signed at the front, 'R Byatt' (Ron Byatt of Amor), with notations throughout in pencil and pen; Ribbons and Medals, by H.Taprell Dorling, edited and revised by Alec A.Purves, published in 1983 by Osprey Publishing Limited, London, hardcover, 320pp with b&w illustrations throughout and centre pages featuring all ribbons in colour. The first with foxing and some other marks, otherwise very good and a scarce original edition; the second with water stain on some back pages and on the back cover, otherwise very fine. (2)
