MYSIA, Pergamon, (128-123 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.61 g), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left monogram of **PER*, above complex monogram, to right serpent entwined thyrsus, (cf.S.3948, Kleiner-Noe Hoard 3, SNG BN 1725. Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine and rare.
