SASANIAN KING, Varhran I, (A.D.271-274), silver drachm, (2.73 g), obv. bust to right with radiate crown, globe above, with ear flap, rev. fire altar flanked with attendants, plain shaft, (cf.Sellwood Plate II, No.18, Gobl 41 (Pl.3), SNS 99 [Pl.9], M.838). Good fine, light weight and rare.
