AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued c.25 B.C., (11.37 g), obv. bare head of Augustus to right, below IMP CAESAR, rev. AVGV STVS either side of bunch of six corn-ears, all within dotted circle, (S.1586, RIC 478, RSC 32b). Toned, good fine and rare.
