EARL ST VINCENT'S TESTIMONY OF APPROBATION MEDAL, 1800, in silver (47mm), (BHM 489; Eimer 919) by C.H.Kuchler after John Flaxman, obverse, uniformed bust of Admiral Jervis left, reverse, seaman shaking hands with a naval officer and the words, 'Loyal/And/True'. With very small pierced hole at top edge for suspension, some spotting on reverse, otherwise very fine and scarce.

Ex Dr John M. Bennett AM Collection.^^Awarded by Admiral Jervis to the officers, men and marines who had remained loyal to him during the 'Naval Mutiny' at the Nore.
