AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, Rome mint, issued 7 B.C. by M. Salvius Otho, (8.522 grams), obv. bare head to left of Augustus around [CAESAR AVGVST PONT] MAX TRIBVNIC PO[T], rev. M SALVIVS OTHO III VIR A [A A] F F around large SC, (cf.S.1685, RIC 432, C.516); another (10.082 grams), AE as, Pergamum mint, issued 28-15 B.C., obv. head of Augustus to right, rev. CA in linear circle within laurel wreath, (S.-, RIC 495, BMC 712); Titus, restoration issue in the name of Augustus, (issued A.D. 80). AE as, Rome mint, (10.598 grams), obv. radiate head to left, around DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER, rev. eagle standing left facing on globe with open wings, around IMP T VESP AVG REST, SC across, (S.2583, RIC 197, C 551 [Augustus]). Generally fine the second very rare. (3)
