Group III 05Aug1940; appt'd Spec. Group II 27Sep1940; admitted to 2/3 C.C.S. for circumcision 23Oct1940; rejoined unit 04Nov1940; Emb.26Dec1940; to Greece 07Mar1941; to 2/3 C.C.S. with appendicitis 03Jan1942; rejoined unit 27Jan1942; to 2/3 C.C.S. again 29Jan1942; rejoined unit 03Feb1942; to 2/3 C.C.S. with pharyngitis 29Apr1942; rejoined unit 02May1942; Died of natural causes at 2/3 C.C.S. in Syria 19May1942; buried at Beirut War Cemetery, Beirut, Lebanon.^^With basic research.^
