GROUP OF FIVE TO MID: Korea Medal 1950-53 with MID; Coronation Medal 1953; United Nations Korea Medal 1950-53; Korea 50th Anniversary Medal 1953-2003; Republic of Korea War Service Medal. A2859 R.C.Glover RAAF on first three medals, A2859 R.C.Glover on fourth medal, R.C.Glover A2859 on last medal. The first medal impressed, other medals engraved. Display mounted, very fine - extremely fine.

MID: LG 30/5/1952; CAG No.40 5/6/1952, to Cpl R.C.Glover 491Sqn, for untiring efforts, personal example and willingness for duty at any hour in Korea.^^Confirmed Sgt R.C.Glover as a member of 1953 Coronation Contingent (RAAF).^^Robert Culshaw Glover, born 15Nov1926 at Cessnock, NSW; Enl.19Dec1944 at Sydney, NSW; served in Korea 19Nov1950 to 22Dec1951 as Fitter/Driver Mech T with 77 Fighter Sqn; Disch.14Jun1957 as Flight Sergeant ex OTS Base Sqn Richmond.^^With research including letter from Department of Defence confirming official medal entitlement.
