Douglas McLean Scott, born Brisbane, Qld, 06Jul1923; entered police force at age 29 yrs 11 mths; Constable 10Jun1952; Constable 1/c 29Dec1958; Senior Constable 11Jan1965; Sergeant 2/c 08Oct1973; service started at Depot on joining in 1952, trasfer 10Jun1952 to Woolloongabba; to Water Police 30Jun1952.^^Douglas Scott had previously served in Royal Australian Naval Reserve from 21Jan1941 with home port of Brisbane, Qld; at entry was Ord Seaman II Class and rose to the rank of AB 06Jul1942; served on various ships until demobilised 03May1946.^^With research.
