INDIA KATAR, c19th century, tapered steel blade (length 23.5cm), with dual fullers and with two joined reinforcement bars on the steel grip, the grip and ricasso area with gold niello decoration, with material covered scabbard. Scabbard very good, the katar with some loss of gold decoration especially on reinforcement bars, otherwise fine.
