GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianii, Rome mint, issued 243-4 obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. FORTVNA REDVX around, with Fortuna seated to left holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.-, RIC 210, RSC 98) (5); others (4) similar obverse, rev. FORT REDVX, similar with wheel under seat, (3), another same but reading FORTVNA REDVX, (S.2435, RIC 143, 144, RSC 97, 98). Several with green surface oxidation, otherwise nearly fine - very fine. (9)
